(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Leader of the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) Vaiko Gopalaswamy is preparing to stage a protest in New Delhi this week ahead of the visit by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Rajapaksa is scheduled to visit New Delhi on Friday (29) on an official visit and Vaiko has called on his party supporters to gather in Delhi on Thursday (28) to stage a black flag protest.
Vaiko has also called on the Indian Government to protect the interests of the Tamil population in Sri Lanka.
