Request To Recognize 71 Rebellion Insurgents as Patriots –JVP

A  farmers’ convention  was  held in Anuradhapura yesterday(5). JVP’s politiburo member K.D. Lalkantha says that persons linked to the 1971 rebellion should also be named patriots in the same manner as the 1818 heroes.

UNP  and SLFP duo  government  has only increased problems for the people, JVP general secretary Tilvin Silva made this allegation while participating at a public rally held in Ambalangoda yesterday.
