Weather Forecast For 14th March 2017

Showers or thundershowers will develop at several places over most provinces of the islandafter 2.00 pm.

Fairly heavy showers (about 50mm) are also likely at some places, especially in the Central, North-central, North-western, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in the Galle district.

A few showers also likely along the Eastern and North-Western coastal areas during the morning too.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
