Ticket is a Must in Private Buses
Western Province Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority, Chairman Thusitha Kularathna said, that as from 15th March 2017, issuing tickets to passengers by the conductors made it compulsory in private buses. If anyone travelling without ticket will be fined Rs 100 along with double the ticket value. At the same time conductor will be fined Rs 250, Rs 500 and Rs 1000 for the first , second and third instances respectively.
