Deputy Minister’s Secretary Abandoned his 84 old Mother in Pannipitiya

Eighty four year old mother went  to  Kottawa  police station with a bag and some cloths  and  lodged  a complaint about the atrocities she faced in the hands of her children . In her complaint, she related her pathetic story . She has three children. Youngest son joined the Army and lost his life.  When her younger son died in action,  She was paid Rs 20 lakhs by the state.  She gets Rs 90,000 per month from it.

Elder son is  one of the  Secretaries  to a Deputy Minister. Second son  is in textile trade and accumulated wealth .He is a millionaire . The land in which she lived is 2 million worth. Sons came there broke open the door and took the deed and transferred it in their name.

 Her  two sons and daughter in laws attacked her  and grabbed all her wealth. My second son  said that I am mad and admitted to an elders home in Pittipana, Pannipittiya . On 12/03/17 my eldest son came and took me back to my second son’s  house. Learning that we were  coming her   daughter in law has put off the lights and closed the door of the house. Then the eldest son took me in his vehicle and dumped me in the midnight in Pannipitiya and disappeared . Kottawa police summoned   both sons on 13/3/17 for an inquiry. They came  and took her promising  that she would be  looked after well and admitted to a  elders home.
