Chain Snatching Thieves on Motor bike Fired by Police

Chain snatching thieves  on a motorbike this morning (20) around  8.30  am snatched  a golden chain from a pedestrian  female  Ayurveda doctor in Arachchikattuwa, Puttalam.

On seeing  the incident, the cops have opened fire at the motorbike on which thieves were speeding. Their ride came to an end as the bike collided with a pedestrian, whose condition is serious. The pillion rider was injured following the shooting, while the rider of the bike had sustained injuries due to the accident. However, they still try to flee through the Puttalam lagoon.

The injured woman and the two suspects are receiving treatment at the Chilaw General hospital.
