Wimal’s Parliamentary Colleagues Advice to Him

Minister of Justice Wejeyadasa Rajapaksa has advised  MP Wimal Weerawansa  to prove  that he had not misused  state vehicles  thus causing loss to the state in the court and get out of the remand prison instead of staging hunger strike.

Similarly ,  Deputy Minister of Power and Renewable Energy, Ajith P. Perera  too has  advised him  to retain  a good lawyer  and prove his innocent  in the court  and  get the relief  instead of  launching on strike.

Wimal Weerawansa  is on hunger strike as from last Wednesday  in the Magazine prison and his health condition is being monitored at every two hours interval said, Commissioner of prison Danasinghe.
