Lasantha Wickrematunge’s Murder EX JMO to be Arrested?

Sunday leader newspaper has reported that the latest autopsy report on Lasantha’s assassination disclosed, that he died as a result of injuries sustained from a sharp object to the right side of the head and not gunshot wounds. However, Ex JMO Dr. K.Sunil Kumara had ruled that the cause of dead was due to injuries caused following the discharge of a firearm.   Further, he had also allegedly removed Lasantha’s file from Kalubowila hospital, when he went on retirement to prevent any further investigation. For these reasons CID is considering the arrest of ex JMO, the newspaper reported.
