Two ASPs Demand Extortion Money (Kappam) from Kilinochi Traders?

Police Spokesmen DIG Priyantha Jayakodi said, that investigation has been ordered against Kilinochchi ASP Roshan Rajapakshe, Jaffna ASP Charitha R.P. Jayasundara and Kayts ASP regarding extortion money demanded from Kilinochchi traders. On complain made to the IGP, Poojith Jayasundara, he has ordered an immediate inquiry. Apart from this, female police officers working under two ASPs have been subjected to harassment and unable to report direct due to fear of revenge by them. However, they managed to bring this matter to the notice of the IGP, who has ordered Vavuniya ASP to investigate these two incidents and report back to him.
