Parliament to Meet Only Half-Day Tomorrow

As a mark of respect to the late Mahanayake of the Amarapura Chapter Most Ven. Dayuldena Gnanissara Thera, who passed away on Monday (3), Parliament Sittings on Thursday has been limited to just half day.
Accordingly, Parliament sessions have been scheduled to conclude at 3 p.m. on Thursday, the same day as the funeral of the late Maha Nayake thera.
The debate on the Geneva Resolution has been cut in half due to the revised schedule for tomorrow.
The decision  was taken by the Business Committee yesterday afternoon.
