CEB Workers Poised to Strike

The convener of the union, Ranjan Jayalal said, that the Ceylon electricity board Joint Trade Union launched a one day token strike since midnight yesterday(5) demanding the elimination of discrepancies in the salary scale and against the suppression of workers.

The strike is successful, the CEB  trade union front is not participating in the trade union action, he concluded.
