The Election Commission announced that the registration of new political parties will be concluded this week.
Around 95 parties have applied for registration, as at today, and the interviews are still being carried out.
He further added that all parties are allowed to appeal, and will have their appealed assessed. Sixty-four political parties have currently registered themselves with the Election Commission in Sri Lanka.
