Protests Against SAITM in Colombo Today

Medical Faculty Student’s  Action Committee said, that a street protest would be taking place this evening today (26), in order to demand the closing of SAITM, Malabe.

The demonstration would originate in front of the Faculty of Medicine in Colombo, at 6.30 pm today (26), The committee’s Summoner, Ryan Jayalath said.

He said,  that the protesters would be walking to the Fort Railway Station and that they would be conducting a peaceful demonstration.

More demonstrations would be organized continuously, as the solutions offered by the Government to remedy the SAITM issue were unacceptable.
