42 Security Officers Detailed to MR’s Security Transferred

Over 42 officers originally from the Ministerial Security Division attached to  former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s security detail have been transferred  with immediate effect.

Rajapaksa  supporters alleges the removal of security was a direct result of the success of the May Day Rally at the Galle Face green.

The real  reason for the transfer of security officers  is not known.
