Govt. Takes Policy-Based Decision on Medical Education

Deputy Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy, Ajith P. Perera at a press conference held at the Department of Government Information yesterday (15) said, that the government has made a policy-based decision to ensure the standards of medical education and the drafting of the law to set up an authority for the monitoring of private higher education institutions was complete.

Accordingly, independent bodies would soon begin monitoring the standards of these higher education institutions.
