Sale of Parliamentarians Duty Free Vehicle Permits to Outsiders For Over 2 Billion

Parliamentarians were given duty free import of  vehicles to enable them to serve the people efficiently .But Parliamentarians ,  who obtained duty free vehicle  import permits have sold them at  exorbitant  prices to outsiders  and making money. The entire country knows that vehicle permits  were given to them to keep them with the Government side to strength the state. Although the Government knows that this racket is being carried out, it  keeps  silence. If tax was charged  the state  would have collected Rs 3 billion and 30 lakhs as revenue,  alleged JVP MP Aura Kumara Dissanayake.
