Nuwaraeliya Historical Post Office to be Sold to India…

Nuwara Eliya historical post office was built in  the year   1894  in accordance with the Tudor Revival architecture by British.

Local as well as  foreign tourists come to visit this post office in Nuwara Eliya.  This is said to be a oldest post office in Srilanka. It has a historical significance.

The economic committee which met this week reported to have given approval  to sell this Nuwaraeliya post office to India to build a hotel complex, a Colombo media reported

Sale of this invaluable asset belongs to the Department of  postal is being  criticize and condemned by  public spirited men and women,a Colombo Media reported
