Former Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Before Presidential Commission

The former Secretary to the Ministry of Finance PB Jayasundara has been summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry.

The former secretary has been summoned in connection with  an inquiry pertaining to the purchase of big onions for Lanka Sathosa.

Charges have been levelled against the former secretary for misusing his power and in doing so causing financial losses amounting to Rs135.8 million to the government.
