LG Elections After Amendment Bill – EC

Chairman of the Election Commission Mahinda Deshapriya  stated that the cabinet had already approved the local government elections amendment bill. It has been  passed in the parliament

Accordingly, the bill, pending approval, will be produced before the parliament within the course of next month.
