Wellawatte Collapsed Building Owner Released on Bail
On 21st May the owner of the collapsed upstairs building, which took 3 lives and wounded 21 surrendered and arrested by the police. He was in remand prison and produced before Mount Lavinia Magistrate today (26). When this case was taken up for trial, he was granted cash bail of 25,000 and released. The case was postponed to 9th June 2017.
