Payment of Water Bills Through Post Offices Today

National Water Supply and Drainage Board has  introduced  a  system through  which consumers  can pay their water bills through post offices with effect from today(1).

Island wide 4,610 post offices  are geared  to accept  payment for water bill . Consumers  who now pays  Rs 15 commission  to effect payment  through other  trade institutions  need to pay  only Rs.5  as commission  to the post offices  thus saving Rs10.
