Date Fixed For SLMC ‘s Petition Against SAITM
on the 31st of January 2017, Court of Appeal has given it verdict on a case filed by SAITM student claiming their rights to register their names in the SLMC. The Appeal Court verdict clearly stated that they are entitled to be registered with the SLMC. Followed by this verdict , the SLMC has petitioned the Supreme Court against the verdict of Appeal Court.
When the case was taken up today before the bench comprising Justice Priyasad Depp, Priyantha Jayawardhane and Upali Abeyrathne, it was decided to take the case for inquiry on 22nd June 2017.
