JO Contribution Towards Relief Work

On advise given by  the Former President Mahinda  Rajapaksha, Joint Opposition MPs decided to contribute  their salary and private money towards flood and landslide victims , said Deputy Chairman of the Joint Opposition  , Ratnapura MP T.Ranjith Soyza said.

He has questioned what happened to the insurance done last year by the Finance Minister allocating  funds to ensure insurance claim of Rs 10 lakhs per person under disaster?
