Dengue Medicines Cannot be Obtained From Private Medical Centers – Rajitha

Minister of Health  Rajitha Senaratna in reply to a question raised in Parliament  by EPDP Douglas Devananda said yesterday , that the medicine ‘’Dextran’’  given for dengue fever is not available in private medical centers  and dispensaries.  Sufficient stock is maintained in Government  hospitals. A fresh stock is coming from  Thailand  today (7) . Hence, there is no shortage for dengue medicine at Government hospital at all, he concluded.
