A Youth Who Prevented a Major Derailment
A youth called Dnuska Seram has gone to the Anuradhapura railway station on the 3rd June on a tour. While he was in the station, he observed a part of the railway track had broken. He lost no time to inform the station master, which led railway authorities to take precautionary steps preventing major derailment saving several lives.
This youth who is fond of trains is following a course in engineering in Germen Tec. When M4 type engine was arrived at the Anuradhapura station and turned the railway track reported to have broken due to unbearable heavy weight.
Many train passengers have appreciated the timely action taken by the engineering student.
