A Buddhist Monk Died Due to Elephant Attack During Procession

An elephant participating in a Perahera procession last night at Katana in Kochchikade became boisterous and attacked a Buddhist monk. Immediately he was taken to Negombo hospital and admitted. Hospital sources said that he passed away this morning.

Deceased is 25 years old Graduate of the Kelani University.
