BBS Gnanasara Thera Prohibited From Leaving The Country

Police has informed the Controller of Immigration and Emigration that Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thera is wanted by the Police in connection with the charges of obstructing Police duties and creating dissention among races.

Special Police teams have been detailed to trace and arrest him. The operation to arrest him has commenced as from 25th May 2017. He is absconding arrest. Hence, he cannot be allowed to leave the country, Police informed controller of Immigration and Emigration.
