Court Ordered to File Amended Plaint Against State Minister

When a case filed by Borella Police, based on a complaint received in 2009 against State Minister Ravindra Samaraweera and one of his secretaries  was taken up for hearing today (14),the Colombo Magistrate’s Court directed Borella Police to file an amended plaint against them
They were charged for allegedly using a vehicle with forged license plates and changed chassis number.
Colombo Additional Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake instructed police to submit the plaint on July 19 and also ordered the State Minister of Labour and Trade Union Relations and his secretary M.G. Palitha to appear before the court on the said date.
