President Not to Make Special Statement Today

 

President’s Media Director Dharmasri Ekanayake stated that President Maithripala Sirisena will not make a special statement today, sources stated.

Ekanayake stated that there was no truth in the rumor circulating that he will be making a special statement.

It was speculated that the President will be making a statement, explaining his decision to grant nominations to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
