Anuradha Suspended From the UNP

United National Party (UNP) Provincial Council member Anuradha Wimalaratne has been suspended from the party, as per a letter received by the MP.

 Lamenting the incident in a post on Facebook, Wimalaratne said he had always worked according to his conscience.

 He said his membership had been suspended because he had been outspoken about the injustice meted out to members of the party and because he had attempted to reveal the underhand work of the government.
