The two Ministry portfolios were vacated following the resignation of Minister of Agriculture P. Iyngaraneshan and the Minister of Education T. Kurukularaja, over corruption allegations.
Followed by this, Northern Provincial Council Chief Minister C.V. Wigneshwaran is scheduled to take oaths as Minister of Agriculture and Education.
TNA provincial councilor M.K. Sivajilingam said, that the Chief Minister, C.V. Wigneshwaran will be sworn in before Northern governor Reginald Corey this afternoon.
