Blame Game & A Joint Cabinet Paper on SAITM Today

The GMOA blamed the Minister of Health  for  altering  the proposals approved during the discussion that was previously held with the President.

Issuing a communiqué  Minister Senaratna indicated   that the statements made by the GMOA, appeared to be baseless. He said that it was not possible for him to alter the official announcement of the President.
He further said, that persons who stage protests had no knowledge about free health services.

While attending  a function in Kandy  yesterday Health Minister Rajitha Senaratna said, that the Government’s position  regarding SAITM will be jointly presented to the cabinet today by the ministry of Health  and the Ministry of  Higher Education.
