UNP would secure a landslide victory: Wijeyadasa Rajapakse

 

Colombo District candidate and Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe stated that the United National Party (UNP) would secure a landslide victory at the parliamentary election similar to the UNP election victory in 1977.

Adding further Mr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe said they have a huge advantage at the election because of the nature of the candidates fielded by the UPFA.

“UPFA has fielded a number of rapists, drug peddlers and fraudsters from their nomination list and it is a huge advantage for our party,” he told the media after handing over the party nominations.

Mr. Rajapakshe was accompanied by UNP candidates Ravi Karunanayake and Rosy Senanayake.
