GMOA to Strike Again

GMOA’s Central Committee met yesterday(29). The committee has carefully examined the steps taken by the government in the past and stated the government has failed to provide an acceptable resolution to issues relating to the South Asia Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM).

Hence, GMOA has decided  to go on strike again next week. They proposed to hold discussions with other trade unions in this connection. Once their consent is received the strike and protest will commence.

The GMOA plan to adopt new mechanisms to stage their protest and launch on strike, he added.
