PM led United National Front for good governance pay courtesy call on Malwathu Chief Prelate

 

Leaders of the United National Front for Good Governance led by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe visited the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic today to receive the blessing of the Buddha before their election campaign is launched.

The United National Front for Good Governance delegation was received by the Chief Custodian Nilanga Delebandara.

Ministers Patali Champika Ranawaka, Arjuna Ranatunga, Lakshman Kiriella, Rajitha Senaratne, Ravi Karunanayake and UNP Chairman Malik Samarawickrama accompanied in the delegation.

After participating in religious activities, the UNF delegation led by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is having a discussion with the Malwatu Chief Prelate.

After participating in the inaugural UNP election rally in Kandy this afternoon, the delegation expect to pay a courtesy call on the Asgiriya Chief Prelate as well.
