Cancellation of Licence of a Practicing Doctor on Charges of Molesting a Female Patient   

A few years ago, a doctor working in the National Hospital while practicing in a private medical centre alleged to have molested a female patient. A seven member committee appointed by the Srilanka Medical Council (SLMC) has inquired into the alleged incident and submitted its’ report.
As the committee found him guilty of the charges, the SLMC has cancelled his practicing licence for next five years.
