Postal Employees Threaten to Strike Again

Convener of the postal union federation Chinthaka said that they abandoned the 72 hour strike on promises given by the government to address all issues raised within a stipulated time frame.

If the promises are not addressed and fulfilled within one week, they will resort to trade union action again on 19^th, he said. In other words, they will go on strike on 19^th July.
