Though Mahinda Robbed He developed the Country – Muruththoduwe Ananda Thero

In a press conference held  in Colombo yesterday(13) Muruththoduwe Ananda Thero  said, whenever the country is in danger , it is  the Buddhist  Maha Sanga  rose to the occasion and safeguard it.

He further said, within2 years  this Government  came into power, they have robbed much more than  Rajapaksa robbed in 10 years. Good life assured  by the Government to it’s citizens ,  when it assumed office has disappeared and the country has gone into deep bottom . What we need now is not new constitution ,  but a way of life to uplift  living standard  of the people. Anti public  steps taken by the Government cannot  be  tolerated  further,  Very  soon he  will  meet Mahanayake Theras  and hold  the meeting of the Maha Sangha  with their consent, Ananda Thera said.

Further he said, although Mahinda  Rajapaksa robbed the country ,he has done some service  to the public and developed it. , he Concluded.
