Netherland Prisons Being Converted into Govt. Offices, Hostels, Restaurants etc…….

Netherlands, a member of the European   Union finds less prisoners and kept vacant for a long time. Court cases and sentence to imprisonment getting reduced year by year. Last year offences committed by its’ citizens came down by 26%. Hence, prison cells are empty. Maintenance of these empty prisons cost Netherland dearly. So they decided to convert empty prisons in to Government offices, Hostels and restaurants etc. Already one of the main prisons had been given to several government offices and functioning now. Another women prison was converted into a ladies hostel. Adding in this series one another was converted in to a restaurant.

What does it means, Netherland citizens have little by little become law abiding, and Police, Courts and prisons have left with less work? At this rate very soon the rest of the prisons in Netherlands will be compelled either to convert or closed down.
