Advanced Level Tuition Classes Banned From 2nd  August 2017

The Department of Examinations said all 2017 Advanced Level tuition classes, lectures and additional A/Level related activities to be brought to a halt by midnight on the 2nd  August for a period of one month.
Commissioner General of Examinations WMNJ Pushpakumara said, the ban will be in effect until the 2nd of September.
Accordingly the order prohibits the conduct of tuition classes, revision classes, lectures and the distribution of leaflets.
The Commissioner General noted action will be taken against those who violate the order under Article 22 of the Examinations Act.
Public can lodge complaints over individuals violating this order on 0112 421 111. Additionally the public can lodge complaints on the police emergency hotline 119 and the hotline of the Examinations Department on 1911.
