Three Customs Officers Transferred
Three customs officers alleged to have been involved in the recent discovery of 218 kg of cocaine concealed in a sugar container were transferred yesterday(21).
Mount Lavinia Police arrested the seven suspects on 19th July 2017 and further remanded till 26th July 2017 by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate.
The suspects, including the two individuals who possessed two cocaine packs are said to be employed at the Ratmalana Economic Centre.
Further investigation carried out by Narcotics Division.
