Jaffna High Court Judge Ilancheliyan’s Bodyguard  Died

A shooting has been carried out in Jaffna yesterday  targeting Jaffna High Court judge M. Ilancheliyan, who had escaped without any harm.

However, a police officer who is said to be his personal bodyguard had sustained injuries in an attempt to save the judge.

The bodyguard of the Jaffna High Court Judge Ilancheliyan, has succumbed to his injuries  and admitted  Jaffna teaching hospital yesterday(22) .

Followed by this,. the bodyguard has died in the Jaffna teaching hospital,  where he was receiving treatment.
