UNP Can Form a Government Without the SLFP -Nimal

Speaking at an event held in Badulla, Minister of Transport Nimal Sripala  de Silva said, the United National Party has the ability to form a government  of their own even if Ministers of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party decide to withdraw from the government. He further said, that certain factions without knowing this fact are attempting to divide the SLFP.

The Minister said the UNP only needs a few more Parliamentarians to form a government . They can easily get some MPs from the SLFP, JVP, Tamil National Alliance or even from  the Joint Opposition to form a majority.
