Nurses Threatens Trade Union Action

Public Services United Nurse’s Union (PSUNU) has threatened to take trade union action, if their demands are not met by the Government.

After 20^th August intensified trade union action will be taken, the union  threatens. They demand the implementation of the treasury circular issued on 24^th December 2016 by the former Treasury Secretary, P.B.Jeyasundara. Union Leader  Murutheduwa Ananda Thera said that the trade union action is unavoidable  and it may be a continuous struggle, he warned.
