Privatization of SLTB  Security Services

All Ceylon Transport  Employees union  accused  the Government for attempting  to engage private security officers to protect  Srilanka Transport Board.

Instead of filling the vacancies  for security staff in the SLTB, at the request   of the treasury the Government is attempting  to recruit  private security officers, alleged trade union.  Further, the trade union stated  that allowing private security into SLTB  depots will become a security threat in future.
