Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Southern, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Western provinces.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Central province.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the other provinces after 2.00 pm.

Fairly heavy falls (about 75 mm) can be expected at some places particularly in the Kaluthara, Galle, Matara, Rathnapura, Kegalle, Trincomalee and Mullaitivu districts.

Fairly strong winds about 40-50 kmph can be expected in the Southern province.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
