New Commander for Wanni Security Forces

Followed by  the appointment of  the former Commander of the Security Force in Wanni, MG Ruwan Kulatunga as the commandant of the staff training institute,  Major General Kumudu Perera has  been appointed as the  new Commander of the Security Force in Wanni.

In a simple ceremony he assumed duties today.

During the ceremony, he stated that he will be working towards ensuring security within Wanni and the North.

Senior officers of the Wanni Security Forces Headquarters were also present at the occasion.
