Local Government  Election Amendment Bill in the Mid of  August

Although  the Leader of the House has announced last Thursday  that the Local Government Election  Amendment bill will be placed in Parliament and debated in August, the exact date was not announced.

Leader of the House has now announced that the amendment bill will be taken up in the party Leaders meeting in the second week of August.  Followed by this, it will be debated in Parliament in the 3^rd week of August.
