Seeking Court Order Against Shiranthi and Yositha?

The CID summoned Shiranthi Rajapakshe and her son Yositha to the CID office on 27th and 28th of July in connection with the murder inquiry of popular rugby player Waseem Thajudeen.
They continued to avoid attending inquiry quoting various flimsy excuses and postponing it.
The vehicle which followed Thjudeen’s car on that fateful day belonged to an organisation functioned directly under Shiranthi and the vehicle was released by the Red Cross Society to it.  Further, CID received information that one of the members of an underworld group named Hettewatta Sureka, who maintained closed relationship with Yositha had disappeared from Srilanka immediately after Thajudeen’s murder and gone abroad. Hence, the CID wants to question Yositha.
Since they are avoiding inquiry by the CID, it has been decided to bring this matter to the notice of the Court and get a Court order to proceed with the inquiry.
