Weather Forecast For 10th August 2017

There is a high possibility of afternoon thundershowers in the Eastern, Uva, Northern and North-Central provinces. Cloudy skies can be expected at most parts of the island.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central,North-western, Northernand Easternprovinces and in the Galle andMatara districts.

Showers or thundershowers may occur elsewhere after 2.00 p.m.

Fairly heavy falls (about 75 mm) can be expected at some places in the Ratnapura, Kegalle, Galle, Matara, Badulla, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Vauniya and Mullaitivu districts.

(There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.)
